first break

Alden has his first broken bone. He has a stress fracture in 2 of his metatarsals. It's likely caused by his excessive jumping and made worse by his toe walking. It took us 24 hours to get him fitted for a boot. I was really angry he had to go to school without and protection for it today. We went right after I got out of class to get him one. He is doing well with it except for stairs, which is understandable. He doesn't seem to mind it but it's only been a few hours.
